Case Study: Channel Tunnel Rail Link.

In 1996, London & Continental Railways (LCR) was selected by the Government to build and operate the high speed Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL), and to own and operate the UK arm of the Eurostar international train service.

The Channel Tunnel Rail Link is the first new railway in England for over 60 years, and the first to operate at high speed (300Kph).

The contstruction team needed a network of reliable professional suppliers to keep the project on track. NLE Electrical Ltd was chosen as one of them.
